Phra AI is a language learning application that uses AI to help users create flashcards from spoken phrases and practice with a spaced-repetition system.
3. Subscriptions
Free Trial
New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the premium plan on annual subscriptions. The trial begins immediately upon confirmation of your subscription.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store settings.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store refund policy.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements
- Abuse the AI processing features in ways that could harm our service
5. Intellectual Property
- The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- Flashcards and translations you create remain your content.
- You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content to provide the service.
6. Disclaimers
- AI-generated translations and corrections may not always be accurate. Always verify important translations with a qualified translator.
- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
